| 1. By registering on the Ghost Encounters Forums community, you agree to the following terms.
2. Each user specifically acknowledges that we are not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of third parties, subscribers, members or other users of the chats and forums and that the risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with each user.
3. Ghost Encounters reserves the right to change or alter these rules at any time and an Administrator's word is final.
4. Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
5. Keep the focus: Do not post off-topic. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject and purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic and/or frivolous commentary -- will not be tolerated such posts will be deleted, moved, locked or simply be deleted.
6. Be nice to each other and respect the moderators. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to a moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Admin.
7. Debate, even when heated, is encouraged. This is not about censorship. We will delete posts coming to our attention that we believe violate these rules.
8. Keep the size of personal images and avatars down.
9. No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
10. Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
11. The official language of Ghost Encounters is English. No use of any other language is permitted
12. Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
13. If you don't comply with these rules you'll have to face a set of sanctions or termination.
14. There will be no excessive use of profanity. The use of profanity is not permitted.
15. There is a simple but strictly enforced no tolerance rule on Ghost Encounters.
15.a. No racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discrimination. No Racism, Threatening, Personal Attacks, No (citing) Victimization or Hateful posts / Retaliation of any kind against a user, or group of users.
15.b. If you are a long standing member, act like one; lead by example and assist other newer users rather than attacking them. We look upon our veteran users to use this opportunity to teach the newer users the appropriate way to conduct themselves in this community.
15.c. Pornography, Flame Wars or any other illegal transactions may not be posted or included in members profiles.
15.d. .Images & links may be posted as long as they are not pornographic or offensive or are copyrighted.
16. NO SPAM! Spam will not be tolerated.
17. Intelligent, civilized debate & discussion is always encouraged, but relentless bitch-fighting and attacks on users will not be tolerated. Personal attacks such as instigating "flame bait", verbal abuse, mocking or sexist remarks of members in posts are not tolerated at Ghost Encounters Such posts will be deleted on sight or moderated accordingly
18. Ghost Encounters reserves the right to remove or edit any posting it finds unsuitable.
19. If you have a complaint about another user, please contact admin.
